Contact washers are a type of spring washer and have a similar, disc-like shape. Unlike standard washers, which have a smooth surface, contact washers have a knurled surface on the top side and serrations on the underside. Thanks to this design, these lock washers create an extremely stable connection between two components. Whenever it is tightened or loosened, a knurled contact washer prevents rotation – its teeth penetrate into the workpiece, providing additional protection against unintentional loosening.

You can obtain contact washers from us in various sizes and materials. In addition to the widely used 304 stainless steel contact washer, you can also order variants with special surface treatments to meet the specific requirements of your business.
We can supply contact washers with the following specifications from stock:
- spring steel, alkaline galvanized, hydrogen de-embrittled
- coating thickness approx. 8 µm, hot oiled
- stainless steel 18/10/Mo, similar to A4, anti-magnetic
