Blade terminals – also called Faston terminals – and blade receptacles are the indispensable interface between the printed circuit boards, the motherboard and all other peripheral components in an electronic system or electrical device. High-quality blade terminals are characterized by particularly good contacting and extremely low contact resistance. Blade terminals are connected by soldering, welding, press-fitting or crimping. For contacting or connecting, they are plugged together with a compatible blade receptacle. Blade terminals for soldering
We offer blade terminals to DIN 46244 for soldering onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) in different sizes, made of brass or bronze and with different surface coatings.
Blade terminals for soldering are available from us loose as bulk material or mounted on steel wire for machine processing with special insertion tools.
Weldable blade terminals or blade terminals for screw or rivet fastening
Also available in our extensive range: blade terminals for welded connections or blade terminals with simple screw or rivet fastening
Blade terminals with press-fit technology
You can also obtain blade terminals that are mounted using uncomplicated press-fit technology, from us online.
Multiple-tab blade terminals, blade terminals for crimping technology
Uninsulated blade receptacles and blade terminals are often attached by simply inserting them securely and then connecting them – known as crimping – using a crimping tool. Blade terminals for crimping and suitable tools are available from our online shop.
