Hexagon nuts are the most common type of nut. They create stable, load-bearing connections when used with bolts, threaded rods, or screws. With their six faces, hexagon nuts are easy to grip and allow efficient transfer of torque. They can be easily tightened and loosened with standard tools such as wrenches and sockets. Due to these features, hexagon nuts are used in a variety of applications:

- to secure structural connections in the automotive and aerospace industries
- in control cabinets and electrical connections, especially in combination with brass nuts due to their good conductivity

Hexagon nuts to DIN 934 / ISO 4032 are the standard type, with additional variants such as hexagon nuts with clamping parts, hexagon nuts with fine threads to DIN 439, and flat hexagon nuts.

Hexagon nuts DIN 934 and 439: standard fasteners for your business
Hexagon nuts DIN 934 / ISO 4032 are available from stock with the following specifications:
- Galvanized steel FK8: size M2 to M10
- Galvanized steel FK10: size M3 to M8
- Nickel-plated steel: size M2 to M6
- A2 stainless steel: M1.6 to M12
- A4 stainless steel: M2 to M12
- Nickel-plated brass: M2.5 to M6
Our range also includes plastic hexagon nuts DIN 934:
- Polyamide 6.6 natural or black for temperature range -20°C to +100°C
- Polyamide 6.6 30% GV UL94-HB for temperature range -40°C to +120°C
- PVDF, UL94-V0 for temperature range -50°C to +150°C
These nuts are resistant to mineral oils, greases, gasoline, trichloroethylene, carbon tetrachloride and some acids.
Low-Profile Hexagon Nuts DIN 439
Low-profile hexagon nuts to DIN 439 are available in zinc-plated steel, A2 stainless steel, or A4 in sizes M2 or M2.5 to M10. Their flat design allows them to be used in confined spaces, such as in control cabinets. We also offer a version with fine threads for potentiometers and switches made from zinc-plated or bichromated steel, nickel-plated brass, or polyamide.
Hexagon nuts with fine threads similar to DIN 439 are also available in black or natural polyamide 6.6, UL94-HB, with temperature resistance from -80°C to +120°C.
Hexagon nuts with clamping part
Do you need self-locking nuts with a hex drive? We can supply self-locking nuts with Poly-Stop to DIN 985 / ISO 10511, made from zinc-plated steel, or A2 or A4 stainless steel. The non-metallic clamping part ensures that the thread surfaces are not damaged. When tightening the connection, the screw thread compresses the plastic ring, creating the locking force for a lasting preload.
We also carry UNC hexagon nuts similar to DIN 934 made from galvanized steel, as well as DIN 6334 hexagon nuts (long nuts).
