Standoffs, long nuts and distance bolts from ETTINGER
Standoffs, also called distance bolts or long nuts, are used to hold or fix components such as electronic circuit boards apart. They are also used to ensure good air ventilation and prevent mechanical contact between components.
Standoffs are mainly manufactured from hexagonal bars to simplify assembly. ETTINGER produces standoffs using cam-controlled automatic lathes and high-performance CNC machines. These components, both with and without a thread, are very versatile.
Standoffs in numerous designs
Our product range includes a large variety of standard design standoffs and PCB supports, as well as the option of custom production and made-to-order parts. As you would expect, we are also experts in large-series production. Please do not hesitate to contact us!
As well as standard models, we also supply self-tapping standoffs, reducing standoffs and hinged standoffs. We have many types of standoffs and spacers, also known as round spacers and spacer sleeves, in stock and immediately available in large quantities.
At ETTINGER, we manufacture standoffs, or distance bolts, with different thread types:
- Standoffs with male/female thread
- Standoffs with female/female thread (double female standoffs)
- Standoffs with male/male thread (double male thread)
- Self-tapping standoffs
These different versions are used, for example, in transformers and other devices, measurement technology and switchgear cabinets. They are made of different materials such as brass, aluminum, plastic, steel, or stainless steel to suit different applications.
Products made of machining steel 11SMnPb30(+C), 11SMn37 or 11SMn30, for example, are available with M3 - M8 threads and a Width Across Flats of 4 - 13. Standoffs made of brass CuZn39Pb3 or 58/CuZn40Pb2 are available with M2 - M8 threads and a Width Across Flats of 4 - 10. We produce polyamide distance bolts in black, russet and white.
