Special cable ties from ETTINGER
Cable ties serve as a quick, uncomplicated but nevertheless secure solution to connect and fix several cables, wires or entire cable harnesses. Despite their simple mechanics they are both robust and durable. Added to this is a favorable price. Special cable ties also offer the possibility of fixing them by means of anchors in pre-drilled mounting holes, by a plug-in foot and even by means of an adhesive base. Such special cable ties are often used in the automotive and construction industries as well as in electronics production.
Plastic cable ties are manufactured by heating the raw material to a certain temperature, liquefying it and then pressing it under high pressure in an injection mold. This injection molding process extracts water content from the material, which is why we add a little liquid to our plastic cable ties in the packaging. Thus they do not become porous during longer storage.
Special polyamide and stainless steel cable ties
Standard cable ties in ETTINGER's range are made of Tefzel (EFTE) or Polyamide 6.6 UL94-V2. The latter is flame-retardant, robust and resistant to oil and oil products as well as greases, alkalis and chlorate solvents. Tefzel (EFTE) again impresses with its mixture of temperature, acid and UV resistance. In addition, ETTINGER offers special stainless steel cable ties. They secure and fix cables and wires even under the most extreme conditions. In total, the range includes the following materials:
- Polyamide 6.6 UL94-V2
- Tefzel (EFTE)
- Stainless steel
The plastics are available in the colors white, black and blue. Other materials and surfaces can be supplied upon customer request. For questions about options and minimum quantities contact us.
Standard cable ties consist of a strap and a latch, both normally made of the same material. At ETTINGER you will also find special designs with steel tongues which can withstand even more traction. Our extra-heavy models can withstand even the most adverse conditions, while metal particles make it possible to detect and thus remove ties, especially in the food industry. You will find the following special cable ties at ETTINGER:

The decisive factor for the use of a special cable tie is the bundle diameter in addition to its robustness, material properties and additional fastening options. It indicates how much the total number of cables or wires may measure in total, so that the binder can still bundle them. ETTINGER's product range includes variants with 10 mm to 20 mm, 21 mm to 50 mm and 51 mm to 80 mm. Cable ties with plug-in foot are available with a bundle diameter scale from 15 mm to 20 mm.
