Features of our online store - which you may not know yet

  • Create a customer account and still see all your company orders

Do you want to shop using your own personal account even though your company is already an ETTINGER webshop customer? Good news – there’s no need to register as a new ETTINGER customer. Instead, you can  create a new user account  that’s linked to your company. There, you can amend your personal details and delivery address at any time, and place your own orders – and you’ll still be able to  keep track of all your company’s activities  in the ETTINGER webshop.

  • Track all your orders – including their status and other details – at any time in your order overview

Your customer account in the ETTINGER webshop provides an easy way to keep track of every order you’ve placed to date. Check the current status of an order, track a delivery, and view other details such as the delivery address and all the products you have ordered.  Wondering which person in your company placed an order?  Once you’ve set up your own customer account in the ETTINGER webshop, you won’t be left wondering anymore.

  • Downloading order confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices from the webshop has never been easier.

Alongside our invoices becoming steadily more digital, order confirmations and delivery notes are now available to download directly from the webshop. Select the order you want in your customer account, and  your order confirmation, delivery note, or invoice is just a click away .
Please note that this feature is only available for orders that have already been shipped.

  • All the information you need about a selected product at a glance

What does the product look like? Does it meet my expectations and specifications? The ETTINGER webshop lists all products with a picture as well as technical drawings showing the exact dimensions, so you can check ahead of time whether what you’ve chosen is suitable for your project. You can also  download the data sheet, product photo, and technical drawing with just a click . Does the product you’re looking for need to comply with certain regulations or demonstrate conformity? All the information you need about this is also included on the product pages.

  • Still deciding? Simply order a free product sample in our webshop!

This lets you test the product directly in your project to see if it meets your needs. Simply select the part in our webshop and  complete the sample request form  – then we’ll send out your product sample in no time at all.

  • Compare products

Find the right product using our quick and easy. The Compare function in the ETTINGER webshop is designed to help you find something that’s perfect for your needs. Just select a product and click on the Compare button. Then repeat this step with as many items as you want, and start the comparison. Our webshop will provide a  clear list of all the product features .
Did something go wrong, or did you add the wrong product to the comparison? All you need to do is delete the comparison and start again.

  • Compare products with the same product features

Are you especially interested in one or more product features of the part you’ve selected? Simply check the boxes next to the features and click on “Find comparable products”. Our webshop will then automatically find and sort all parts from the  same product category according to your specified criteria .

Want to order a product, but only know the manufacturer part number? Not a problem for the ETTINGER webshop – simply enter the part number in the search field and you’ll be sure to find the product you’re looking for. By the way, you can search with or without the dots, even if you’re using an ETTINGER part number.

  • Reorder products

Ordered a product from ETTINGER and need another of the same? Click on the original delivery under “Orders” in  your customer account  and simply tap the  “Order again”  button to reorder the same product. So there’s no need to hunt for your favorite product all over again.

  • Reorder your favorite products

It’s so quick and easy to reorder your favorite products! The  automatically generated Top Articles  list in your customer account makes reordering your favorite products a breeze.

Our Product Guides are provided for a whole host of product categories in our webshop, and contain  interesting details  about various product versions and available materials. They also explain in detail how and where to use the part in question.

Current Situation

Due to the current situation, certain items may be subject to delays and postponed delivery dates. We are doing everything we can to keep our delivery times as short as possible and thank you for your understanding.

ETTINGER does not currently procure any items from Russia or Ukraine. We are therefore not affected by delivery bottlenecks involving Russian and/or Ukrainian suppliers at the present time.
Nevertheless, the dramatic price rises resulting from the conflict are still having an impact on the ETTINGER product range. You will find the current price of a product on the detail page for the respective item.

Customer Account

Here  you can register as a customer with the ETTINGER online store.

Please note that only commercial customers can place orders with ETTINGER. You will need your company details to register as a new customer.

  • Registering as a new customer

Please enter as much information as possible in the fields provided, ensuring you complete those fields marked as mandatory. Click the “Register” button to complete the registration process. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from us if registration has been successful.

  • Creating a new user account

Enter the customer number for your company and your personal e-mail address and complete all the fields marked as mandatory if you have not already done so. Check that the information you have entered is complete and finish the registration process. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from us if registration has been successful.

Use your personal access details to log into the online store. Once you have logged in, you will be taken to the overview page of your customer account automatically. You can edit both your profile and the shipping address for your company here.

  • Editing your profile

Click the “Change profile” button. Here you can make any changes that concern you personally only (for example, you can change your department or role, phone number, or e-mail address) and assign a new password.

  • Editing your shipping address

If the address or the name of your company changes, you can update this via the “Change shipping address” button.

  • Editing your billing address

It is possible to change your billing address. To do this, please get in touch with your contact at ETTINGER or use our  Contact form .

To delete your customer account or delete the data concerning a contact from your company, please contact ETTINGER customer support:

E-mail

Your password must be at least 8 characters long. It must also contain both lower and upper case letters and at least 1 special character. Please make sure that no one else has access to your personal password.

On the login page for the online store, click “Forgot password” and enter the e-mail address you used when you registered as a customer with us. Confirm the process by clicking the “Send email” button. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail from us. Click the link it contains to change your password.

  • Why have I not received an e-mail after clicking “Forgot password”?

Make sure that you have used the e-mail address we have saved for you. Ensure that it is spelled correctly and check your spam folder. If your e-mail address is not registered with us yet, the message “The e-mail address is not registered” will be displayed in a red box.

Shipping and Delivery

You can specify your preferred shipping date during the checkout process. This is the date that the items will leave our warehouse. You should factor in around two to three days from the shipping date for the items to be delivered to your company by a parcel service. Please bear this in mind when specifying your preferred shipping date.

Returns and Recalls

Only complaints made in writing will be accepted. Please get in touch with your contact at ETTINGER or send an e-mail to sales@ettinger.de.

It is possible to return or exchange items you have ordered by mistake. However, the items must be in their original packaging when you return them. Any shipping costs incurred to return the items plus a restocking fee set at 20% of the value of the items will be invoiced.

Custom production or custom procurement items cannot be exchanged.

Ordering

To place an order in the ETTINGER online store, you must first sign up as a customer via our registration process.

  • Have you already registered as a customer with ETTINGER?

Then please visit our login page and sign in using your personal access details. You can now place the products you want in your shopping cart. Once you have placed all the items you want in your shopping cart, click the “To checkout” button. Then review the items in your cart and their quantities in the checkout area. Please also check all the other details, such as your billing address, and accept our terms and conditions. You can then place a binding order for the items.

To place an order via file upload, create an export of your parts lists in CSV format.

The CSV file must contain the following column headers: productNumber;quantity

Each row must contain an item number as well as the desired quantity of the item separated by a semicolon.

If your order has not yet been processed by an ETTINGER employee, it can still be amended or canceled. You can track whether your order has already been processed by its order status (“In processing”, “In dispatch”, “Partially dispatched”, “Dispatched”).

E-mail

You will find all orders for your company in your customer account under the “Orders” tab. Here you can also view who placed the order.

You will receive the order confirmation for the order you have placed directly via e-mail as soon as the order has been processed by one of our sales employees. The delivery notes are included in the parcel containing the ordered items. Ideally, we would like to send your invoices via e-mail directly to your accounting department.

You can sign up to receive your invoices via e-mail here.

  • Do you need an order confirmation, a delivery note, or an invoice for a past order?

Select the relevant order in your customer account and click “Additional information”. You can obtain the order confirmation, delivery note, or invoice by clicking the number displayed in blue. A PDF document will open automatically which you can print, save, or forward. If the relevant order is not displayed in your customer account, please contact our customer support team directly:

E-mail

Use your personal access details to log into our online store. Then select the item you want from our product range and click the “Add to wishlist” button in the item’s detail view. You can then add the item to an existing wishlist or create a new wishlist. All wishlist items are saved in your personal account and can be retrieved quickly and easily in the overview of your customer account on the “Wishlists” tab.

You can create a specific product inquiry directly from the detail page for the product you want using the “Add to inquiry list” button. Specify the required quantity, target price, and required delivery date, and then click the “+ Inquiry List” button to add the item to the product inquiry.

You can repeat this process as often as you like.

If all the products you want are in your product inquiry list, you can retrieve them using the icon at the top right (letter with question mark) and complete the product inquiry. Check that the pre-filled details are complete and add to or correct them if necessary. Complete the product inquiry by clicking the blue “Send inquiry” button. You will receive a quotation from us shortly.

The prices of all items placed in the shopping cart are updated again before the checkout process. However, a binding price is only provided once the order confirmation is sent.
Vor dem Checkout-Prozess werden die Preise aller im Warenkorb befindlichen Artikel nochmals aktualisiert. Ein verbindlicher Preis kommt jedoch erst mit der Zusendung der Auftragsbestätigung zustande.
